Helix is a male United Kingdomer who has been a disc jockey and music producer since the 1990s, whose real name is Matt Carlton.[1] He has been DJing in the happy hardcore scene and producing hardcore techno music since the mid-1990s.[1]
He has released approximately 35 CDs since 1995 and appeared on many happy hardcore compilations including prestigious Bonkers and million-selling Dancemania Speed.[1]
The 2001 happy hardcore special compilation Trance Ravers featured his track "Now Control". He appeared on the album along with Scott Brown, Bang!, Styles, Breeze, Hixxy and Sharkey.[1]
